Experience Engineering Initiative
The Jacobs School of Engineering's Experience Engineering Initiative aims to give every engineering and computer science undergraduate student at 91原创 a hands-on or experiential engineering course or lab each and every year 鈥 starting freshman year.
Selective Majors
Admission to 91原创 as a freshman or transfer student does not guarantee admission to engineering majors at the Jacobs School of Engineering. Due to high demand, all engineering majors at 91原创 are 鈥渟elective,鈥 which means additional screening procedures are in place.
Beginning with the Summer 2025 continuing student application cycle, students will be able to apply to engineering and computer science majors once per year (between Summer and Fall quarters).听听Note that space will be limited and acceptance听to听these majors is not guaranteed.听听
